BSGR Microfilm Rentals

Many past and present members of the BSGR, over the last twenty years, have donated various books, documents and research papers to the BSGR for storage in our several archival depositories around the country. At the same time, the BSGR has produced four books and several pamphlets which are no longer available through our BSGR OnLine Store, because they are out of print. Copies of these have also been placed in our depositories. Because much of this material may be difficult for many of our members to access from our archives for their own Blair research, the BSGR has made, purchased and collected a number of rolls of microfilm (35 mm) of some of this material and have made them available for rent from the BSGR Microfilm Rental Library. Please see the following catalog of the rolls and their contents for more detail.

While not all of our archives have been microfilmed as yet, it is one of our long-term goals to continue this process by making more Blair research materials available to our membership and as conveniently as possible. One of the best ways to view the rolls, once received, is to go to the nearest public or college library or an LDS Family History Center and use one of their microfilm readers. If you want hard copies of some of the material on the rolls, you could ask to use a reader with a copier attached.

These microfilms may be rented for up to 30 days at a time. Only one roll may be rented at a time. The rental fee is $6.00 per roll, plus $4.00 postage (Priority Mail, flat rate envelop). A $20.00 refundable deposit is required. To order one of these rolls from the BSGR:

	Send a clear request with the Roll Number of the film you wish to order to:

	Enclose a check for $30.00, payable to the "Blair Society". This represents the $6.00 rental fee, $4.00 postage and handling, and $20.00 deposit.

	(A late fee of $5.00 per month applies unless otherwise waived. Please return the microfilm so other Blair researchers can use it after you.)

	If you wish to leave your deposit on balance with the BSGR for future orders, please specify at the time you order. Future orders will then be $10.00 per roll.
